THIS story made my day today. From the Times "...church says bible may not be accurate..."

First (and I have to say this)...duh.
Second, it should be interesting to watch the ripples of this little theological faux pas. To watch them scurry to call the center of their order liars or "influenced" or some other black helicopter type theory. It should be good or a serious laugh.
Lastly, I remember a story about some wing nut giving tours at the Denver Museum to teach creationism while walking among dinosaur bones (moron) to help indoctrinate children in to this cult mentality. I'm forwarding him the links to this story that specifically state "...the first 11 chapters of Genesis, in which two different and at times conflicting stories of creation are told, are among those that this country’s Catholic bishops insist cannot be “historical”. At most, they say, they may contain “historical traces”. "
Let's see if he gets his holy panties in a bunch over it :) I sure hope so.
